Bio
When I was about 9 years old, my guitar teacher walked into our lesson and started playing “La Bamba.” It was my favorite song at the time. Realizing right there that I could play songs I loved on my guitar eventually led to playing in biker bars with high school bands and making records with friends on a 4-track recorder.
After high school, I attended Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA. I graduated with a degree in Guitar Performance and relocated to Los Angeles.
Shortly after arriving in Los Angeles, I connected with the Canadian Alternative-rock band Our Lady Peace, and have been a member of the band for over 20 years now. To date, Our Lady Peace has sold over 5 million albums, won multiple awards, and will be inducted into the Canadian Walk of Fame in June of 2025. Our Lady Peace (“OLP”) has toured extensively across North America and Europe and has shared the stage with such artists as The Rolling Stones, Guns N’ Roses, Live, The Smashing Pumpkins, and Bryan Adams.

When not working with my band, I enjoy doing session work for television and film scores, and I’ve done hundreds of recording sessions for scores that cover a wide range of genres and styles. This includes comedy (Modern Family, Emily in Paris, Rules of Engagement), drama (A Million Little Things, Rectify, Rosewood), motion pictures (Wanted, Katy Perry: A Part of Me, Better Nate Than Ever, Jojo Siwa: The J Team), kids’ series (School of Rock, Bizaardvark, Sydney to the Max), and animation (Dawn of the Croods).
I do a lot of work from my home studio which is filled with over 50 instruments from all over the world and outfitted with top of the line recording equipment. For a detailed list of the instruments and recording gear that I use, please see the “equipment” section of this site.
Apart from playing or recording music, I enjoy obsessing over Major League Baseball, meditating, and seeking out the best vegan Aloo Saag in town.
